The spike necklace is untreated brass and it will develop a beautiful darker patina over time, getting more beautiful as it ages. The carabiner clasp is meant to be worn in the front, to be seen, but can be positioned wherever you prefer. You can clasp it into any link to create a shorter necklace. You can also add a charm or pendant of your own to the clasp.
